Applications Open — BETA Scholarship 2026/2027

Overview

KAGEDEV is opening applications for its BETA scholarship programme for the 2026/2027 academic year, open to Cameroonian students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Germany. The scholarship amounts to €500 per month. Applying to the scholarship is free — 0 FCFA, no fee at any stage of the application itself, which takes place 100% online. KAGEDEV does not mandate any agent, agency or intermediary to collect applications: anyone presenting themselves as such is attempting fraud. Key eligibility condition: applicants must hold an active KAGEDEV access card at the time of submission. The access card is not free: it costs 15,000 FCFA and takes 48h to obtain — a separate cost from the scholarship application, which remains free. To get one: https://cmr.kagedev.org/acces The published selection criteria are: academic excellence (40%), social engagement (30%) and a mini-project presented by the applicant (30%). Programme governance separates file review, carried out in Cameroon, from the final decision, which rests exclusively and definitively with KAGEDEV's board of directors in Germany. Results will be published on this website as well as on the noticeboard of the KAGEDEV Douala office. Each applicant will also receive an individual email notification. Warning: no payment of any kind will ever be requested to apply or to receive the scholarship, and KAGEDEV never communicates through an unofficial personal WhatsApp contact.
